About Blume
Blume had aspirations of being a singer. She has the talent for it, she just realized her passion was in using her voice for all of it's magical capacities.

She switched gears and started working in radio for her University in Miami, FL. It was a place where she got to meet so many amazing, cultured, interesting, and talented people who had incredible music taste. Sharing thoughts and music; it was home.

She moved to Austin, TX. where she took a leap of faith, and began an internship for one of the top morning shows, Jason & Deb. She worked her way up to voicing commercials for whomever needed it, board operator for the Latino 102.7 station, continuity assistant, programming assistant for the number 1 show BOBFM, to her goal as on-air talent for KLBJ-FM and a full time position as Promotion Coordinator for National Sales. All her hard work had paid off. And then, the world shut down.
​Ever the tenacious woman, she worked several jobs all while building a portfolio, going to auditions, sending agents her work- always working on her craft and never giving up. She's had moments of breakthrough, and is still striving to achieve her dream of being a working voice actress. ​

Blume's Projects
Blume accomplished a goal of launching her podcast, The Sound of Healing. Contracted with a South Fl. local media company, Agua Media, she wrote and hosted 5 episodes, and premiered on Spotify, Apple Podcast, the media companies website, and everywhere you can get your podcasts. Unfortunately, 1 week after premiering, the company dropped all projects based on a board decision to no longer provide funding. She is currently gathering her ducks to continue the podcast, and release content.
The Sound of Healing is a podcast that will guide you and teach you about the healing power of sound and will help you navigate through the noise to achieve health and serenity. Sounds can inspire memories, emotions, and even moods. Sound guide, Ashley Caicedo, a.k.a. Blume, will guide you through the prisms of different, everyday sounds and illustrate how they can affect your life.
Blume has her sights set on a life's goal of buying a small farm where she hosts events and has a full functioning production studio where she works as a voice actress. To cultivate land, community, and career; that's the mission.
She found literal Paradise on a farm in Homestead, FL. where the team were people Blume is truly inspired by. The community she formed through farming, as a queer woman- it changed her life forever.
Blume is currently living in South Bend IN, working several jobs, connecting with all life, networking with soil and humans - all while remembering to slow down and lead with gratitude.
